No. All Achology course content is copyrighted by The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. Any content found on torrent sites, file-sharing platforms, or unauthorised third-party websites is pirated and incomplete.
Short answer
- All Achology course materials are copyrighted. Commercial copying, hiring, and lending are strictly prohibited.
- Content found on torrent or file-sharing sites is stolen. It is not authorised, endorsed, or supported by Achology.
- Pirated content is inherently incomplete. It lacks the community access, live events, peer practice, and coaching sessions that make the education work.
- Videos are not downloadable from the platform — this is a deliberate IP protection measure.
- PDFs are downloadable for enrolled members’ personal and educational use only.
- Using pirated content means you miss the majority of what Achology actually provides.
The full answer
What Achology’s copyright covers
All Achology content — course videos, written materials, handbooks, and frameworks — is copyrighted by The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. The copyright terms are clear: reproduction is permitted for education, training, and personal purposes only. Copying, hiring, and lending for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited.
This applies to every piece of content Achology produces, from individual course lessons to the Code of Ethics, the CPD Handbook, and the Code of Character and Conduct.
Why pirated content is worthless
Even if someone manages to copy video files or PDF materials, they are getting a fraction of what Achology provides. Here is what pirated content cannot include:
Access to the learning community, which is where competence actually develops. Live training sessions (VALTS), where you practise skills in real time with other learners. Peer practice (PALS), where you give and receive focused one-to-one skill development. CIPS — real coaching sessions with non-members facing genuine challenges. Annual Code of Ethics training, which grounds your practice in professional standards. Progress through the CPD member journey, which documents your development across six levels.
In short, the course content is step one of a three-step model. Steps two and three — community-based competence development and professional service delivery — cannot be pirated. They require active membership and participation.
Why videos are not downloadable
Achology deliberately prevents video downloads as an intellectual property protection measure. Course PDFs are downloadable for enrolled members’ personal and educational use. However, video content is streamed through the platform only. This protects the investment Achology makes in producing high-quality instructional content.
What to do if you find pirated content
If you encounter Achology content on a torrent site, file-sharing platform, or unauthorised website, you can report it to the team at enquiries@achology.com. Achology takes IP infringement seriously and pursues takedowns where possible.
If you are tempted to use pirated content instead of enrolling
Consider what you are actually getting. You would receive outdated, unsupported video files with no community, no practice sessions, no ethical training, no CPD progression, and no certificate. You would also have no access to updates — Achology courses are revised and improved over time, and enrolled members receive these updates automatically.
More fundamentally, Achology’s educational philosophy is built on integrity, responsibility, and honest engagement. Using stolen materials to learn about ethical practice is a contradiction that undermines the entire point of the education.
If cost is a concern, every course offers up to 120 minutes of free preview content. Flexible payment options are available on all courses and bundles. There are genuine ways to access Achology affordably — piracy is not one of them.
What Achology is and isn’t
Achology is a copyrighted educational platform. Its content is protected by intellectual property law. It is not open-source, Creative Commons, or freely distributable. The community, live events, and CPD pathway — which constitute the majority of the learning experience — cannot be replicated outside the platform.
Next step
If you want to experience Achology properly, start with the free preview content available on every course page. When you are ready to enrol, the membership page explains what full access includes.
